Missing In Action

 

There are roughly 314 recipients who are listed as Lost to History as their burial location is unknown. We are actively working with the Congressional Medal of Honor Society to locate their final resting place.

There are also 66 recipients who are classified as MIA or Missing in Action. Additionally, there are 6 recipients classified as Missing although not due to combat.  Most have ‘In Memory Of’ cenotaphs.

What follows are the names of the missing and what information we have regarding their death. Some are also listed on the Lost to History page as they may be locatable. If you have any additional verifiable information on them, please contact us.
